My Mom's Battle with Bone Metastasis
Found out earlier this year that my mom has Bone Cancer. It hit her VERY hard and has done some serious damage. She will never be cured, but with the helps of the medications and radiation, she should get some relief from the pain. It breaks my heart to see her go through this. I have grown up and watched her be such a strong, independent woman. With this illness, she has lost a lot of that independence. She no longer works the job that she LOVED and needs help from day to day. Please keep her in your prayers. If you want to learn more about the Diagnosis, click the link I have posted below. :)

This is my Friend, Valerie. She recently lost her battle with Breast Cancer. She was such a great person, and one of the best friends a girl could ask for. Before she was diagnosed, her and her little boy, Jesse would come stay the weekends with us.
The Cancer took it's toll on her pretty quick & the treatments made her sick. She was a fighter though & fought with all she had. She was always armed with her lipstick & was a champ when she lost her hair. Was no doubt the purtiest bald lady EVER! She rocked that look better than my husband. I could always make her laugh by offering her the rainbow clown afro wig to wear. She told me, "If you find it, I will wear it!" & she would have! Not a day goes by that she doesn't cross my mind. I miss her tons, but I know she has a huge smile on her face and is not longer suffering. Rest in peace my dear friend. Until we meet again!! :)

I have two friends that suffer with IIH on a daily basis. They have to live day to day with pain. I can't begin to imagine what they go through. Although I have never met either of them in person, they mean A LOT to me. I do not know much about this VERY RARE Disease, but below is a link to give you an idea of what these two very special ladies go through. Just know I love both of you VERY VERY much. :)
